Enveloping Supremex

This is a sample post to the Sung Capital newsletter. For full access to the archive and future writeups from Oliver Sung, subscribe here.

With the newly revived Sung Capital, I’ll be maintaining an avid writing schedule, aiming for 1-2 stocks per week to bring much more value to the subscription than its price (I’m all about the value stick), but also, admittedly, to keep my name fresh in your inbox. That means I’ll basically be writing up every third or so company I’m looking at in various short-form and long-form formats. However, I have nowhere near that quantity of excellent, actionable ideas — no one has; the market is way too efficient — so keep in mind that although my focus in this subscription will always be actionable ideas, the writeups are a mix of actionable names, discarded names, and names I find mildly interesting for some reason.

I do writeups for myself to collect my thoughts/learnings and as a reference point for future analysis if it becomes relevant. I encourage you to view them similarly, and as a window into what I’m looking at any given time.

You may try to read between the lines, assuming that when I conceal a company’s name, it’s a subtle recommendation, and when I reveal it — like with Supremex — it’s not. That’s not the case. I may hide a name for several reasons: low liquidity, building a position, attracting new paid readers, event-driven plays, and so forth. Also, none of my writeups are recommendations anyway, as they are for informational purposes only — all that stuff…

Anyway, on to Supremex.
